The last few decades have witnessed a dramatic rise in research on probability and its applications. This is fueled by the need to model complex large interconnected systems as observed around the internet, social networks, financial markets and economic systems, communications networks, supply chains, etc. In this two and a half day workshop, some researchers from IIT Bombay, TIFR Mumbai and IISER Pune working in areas related to applied probability come together and discuss their research. In addition, there will be two tutorials:

1)  Optimal martingale transport. By Nizar Touzi, Ecole Polytechnique (Visitor to STCS, TIFR Mumbai).

2)  Causal inference in probabilistic graphical models. By Piyush Srivastava, TIFR Mumbai.
