I am a Fellow of Indian Academy of
Sciences.
Since 1985, I have been regularly refereeing papers for the reputed

and Applications, (v) Information Processing Letters, (vi) Pattern Recognition

I reviewed several papers for
refereed conferences in India and abroad. I also reviewed several
research proposals for the government and other agencies in India and abroad.
I chaired many sessions in the International Conferences. I gave lectures on my
research work at many Institutes, Universities and
Conferences in India and abroad. I was an examiner for MS, M.Tech. and
Ph.D. theses of IITs and Indian universities.
Since 2008, I have been conducting (along with some computer scientists
and mathematicians in India) a series of research promotion workshops of
introductory lectures on graph and geometric algorithms for teachers and
students (undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral) at colleges and universities
at different locations in India.
