Light and light based devices have started playing pivotal roles in many of the modern information communication systems. As the only means to record and reproduce light, with its whole information content, it is generally considered that there is now a rebirth of holography. The talk will focus on holography and its creative and scientific applications. A collection of creative and scientific holograms will also be showcased.
SPEAKER'S PROFILE: Dr. Ajith Kumar designed and set up the first and foremost security hologram production facility and holography studio of India. He managed secure production of over 1 billion security holograms for various government and private clients, as per international quality and security norms. Dr Ajith Kumar has designed and initiated production of new generation holographic high security certificates for various government universities and document security projects.
