The School of Technology and Computer Science invites applications for junior and senior faculty positions. The school plans to grow substantially over the next few years, and candidates with a strong conceptual and quantitative focus in all areas of computers and systems sciences are invited to apply. Candidates working in algorithms, applied probability, automata, communications, control, formal verification, information theory, logic, machine learning, and quantum computing are especially encouraged to apply. We also strongly encourage minority candidates working in the above areas to apply.
Qualifications required include a doctorate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related areas with a quantitative focus, an outstanding academic record, and a strong publications record. We also invite applications for multiple visiting fellow (postdoctoral) positions. Applicants should have a strong research and publication record. Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting research independently as well as with members of the school. They may optionally help advise students, and help in designing and teaching courses. The candidate will join a team of researchers working in areas including algorithms, applied probability, automata, complexity, communications, control, formal verification, information theory, logic, machine learning and quantum computing.
