Dr. Simoni Shah was awarded the Sasken Best Thesis Award for the year 2013-14 for her Ph.D. Thesis titled "Unambiguity and Timed Languages".The Sasken Best Thesis Award is given for the best PhD thesis of the year submitted through the Institute, based on the work done in Computer & Systems Sciences. It consists of a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and a Medal. Simoni will be presenting her thesis at the the Sasken Best Thesis Award Seminar (http://www.tcs.tifr.res.in/event/sasken-best-thesis-award-seminar).
