Girish Varma, a graduate student in the School of Technology and Computer Science wins the Google India PhD Fellowship 2012 in Algorithms. He was one of the 40 students worldwide chosen for the Google PhD Fellowship. The Google PhD Fellowship is given for a period of 48 months supporting graduate studies in Computer Science.
